Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Operations professional in Hudson, WI for a Sunday-Thursday night shift from 8:00 pm to 4:30 am, or until task complete. A $1500 sign-on bonus is offered for new hires. Responsibilities include inventory control, order submission, and coordinating outbound shipments.

The role requires at least 4 years in warehousing, with a high school diploma or equivalent. You will work with a team to optimize productivity and ensure compliance with safety and quality

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to assess inventory levels, submit orders and audit warehouse operations.
• Direct floor workflows including packing, unloading, shipping and managing delivery schedules.
• Analyze internal data and reports on productivity and efficiency to identify performance gaps.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Supervisors to align on priorities and objectives.
• Forecast inbound/outbound workload to optimize labor utilization.
• Assist in inventory management, stocking and shipping as needed.
• Coach inbound team on operating procedures to ensure expectations are met.
• Perform opening/closing activities to ensure efficient outbound operations.
• Monitor processes, propose innovative solutions and drive sustained performance.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities Follows standard operating procedures to assess inventory levels, submit orders, and audit warehouse operations to facilitate successful operational activities within the warehouse. Directs workflows on the floor of the warehouse, including packing, unloading, shipping and managing of delivery schedule. Analyzes internal data and reports on productivity and efficiency to help determine when and where the warehouse is performing better or worse than expected. Coordinates with Warehouse Supervisors to align on warehouse and inventory priorities, in alignment with operational objectives. Assists in inbound and outbound workload forecasting through historical and trend analysis to determine how labor should be utilized. Assists in inventory management, and helps with stocking and shipping, as necessary. Coach inbound team members on Operating procedures to ensure expectations are met Conduct opening and closing activities to ensure efficient Outbound operation Monitors and Leads the process, suggesting innovative solutions to identified challenges. Owning the outcomes and driving the team to better, sustained performance. Communicates and records the End of Out bound’s Day recap Completing Dock certification, safety, and training

Qualifications

4+ years of experience, preferred High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
