Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate to inspire the team, drive accuracy, and maintain safety in a fast-paced distribution environment in Canton, MI.

You’ll enter data, manage inventory, assign tasks, coach 2–5 team members, and ensure tools and supplies are available while upholding quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• 4 years of warehouse experience.
• Microsoft Office experience and proficiency (Outlook and Excel).
• Ability to learn new computer applications.
• Solid organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for accurate data entry.
• Handle inventory, monitor levels and reconcile merchandise.
• Assign work and monitor group activities.
• Instruct associates on equipment use, procedures and housekeeping.
• Monitor availability of tools, materials, and supplies; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Oversee equipment usage and coach team on safety and performance.

Lead Warehouse Associate

As a Lead Warehouse Associate at RXO, you will inspire your associates to achieve maximum productivity, exhibit professionalism and strive to be error-free. As part of our team, you’ll have the support to excel at work, and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.

What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like

• Be responsible for accurate data entry
• Handle inventory, including monitoring levels and performing merchandise reconciliation
• Assign work and monitor group activities
• Instruct associates in proper equipment, operational and maintenance procedures; guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements
• Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials, and supplies
• Oversee the usage of equipment and ensure team adherence to all safety procedures and programs
• Assist with resolving problems to ensure maximum associate productivity; take necessary action to correct substandard performance

At a Minimum, You’ll Need

• Microsoft Office experience and proficiency (Outlook and Excel)
• Ability to learn new computer applications
• 4 years of warehouse experience
• Solid ability to multitask with exceptional organizational skills

It’d Be Great If You Also Have

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings and weekends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid leadership skills; able to coach and mentor team members (2-5)
• Solid math skills

This Job Requires The Ability To

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a warehouse environment that is not climate-controlled
