RXO Inc. in Canton Charter Township, MI, is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate to drive productivity, coach team members, and uphold safety and accuracy in daily operations.

You will oversee data entry, inventory control, and task delegation while maintaining a professional and inclusive work environment. Ideal candidates have at least 4 years of warehouse experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel), and strong multitasking and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for accurate data entry
• Handle inventory, including monitoring levels and performing merchandise reconciliation
• Assign work and monitor group activities
• Instruct associates in proper equipment, operational and maintenance procedures; guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements
• Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials, and supplies
• Oversee the usage of equipment and ensure team adherence to all safety procedures and programs
• Assist with resolving problems to ensure maximum associate productivity; take necessary action to correct substandard performance

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Be responsible for accurate data entry
• Handle inventory, including monitoring levels and performing merchandise reconciliation
• Assign work and monitor group activities

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Microsoft Office experience and proficiency (Outlook and Excel)
• Ability to learn new computer applications
• 4 years of warehouse experience
• Solid ability to multitask with exceptional organizational skills

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings and weekends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid leadership skills; able to coach and mentor team members (2-5)
• Solid math skills

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in a warehouse environment that is not climate-controlled
