Job summary

Yellowstone Club, LLC in Big Sky, Montana, is seeking a Lead Teacher for Gallatin River Childcare. This full-time, year-round role provides direct care in a safe, enriching Waldorf-inspired program. The position offers compensation of $23–$25 per hour, with a $3 differential at the Big Sky location, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a childcare setting preferred.
• ECE or related field preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Model and teach developmentally appropriate behavior and interactions.
• Provide daily care to meet the needs of every child.
• Follow day-to-day classroom schedules, routines, and activities.
• Guide Assistant Teachers in daily tasks.
• Help children reach developmental milestones through Waldorf-inspired education.
• Maintain a clean, organized space.
• Communicate with families daily updates.
• Plan and execute Waldorf-inspired curriculum.
• Schedule and meet with parents to discuss child development.
• Track and assess each child’s progress.
