Job summary

The Learning Experience Longwood is seeking an early childhood teacher to inspire young minds in our warm classrooms and to implement the LEAP Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers, or Preschoolers. You will partner with families daily and contribute to a joyful learning environment.

With at least one year of teaching experience, a High School diploma or GED, and CDA/VPK credentials, you’ll join a supportive team that values growth, hands-on development, and ongoing professional training.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional teaching experience.
• DCF 45 Hours Training completed.
• Active CDA credential with VPK endorsement.
• College coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus.
• Ability to meet all state licensing requirements for the role.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming space where children feel free to learn, play, and explore.
• Spark curiosity and build confidence through a growth-mindset approach to teaching.
• Implement the LEAP Curriculum® for Infants, Toddlers, or Preschoolers tailored to each child’s spark.
• Offer a safe, nurturing environment and stay connected with families about milestones.
• Collaborate with center leadership to help your classroom and center flourish.
