Job summary

University of California, Davis seeks an Academic Program Manager to oversee a multi-disciplinary research and education program within the Centers for Violence Prevention (CVP). The role manages undergraduate and graduate education, staff supervision, and cross-department collaboration.

You will steward budgets, ensure compliance with sponsors, coordinate strategic projects, and support centers-wide planning while leading a team of faculty, research staff, and students to advance violence

Qualifications

• Graduate degree required or equivalent
• 10-15+ years of supervisory experience in academic/research setting
• Experience managing multiple priorities and projects
• Experience managing interdisciplinary teams
• Leadership, mentoring and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to build organizational structures and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strategic planning skills
• Ability to anticipate problems and adapt to challenges
• Discretion handling sensitive situations
• Attention to detail and accuracy
