Job summary

The New York Post’s Page Six video team seeks a Lead Video Editor to steer high-priority celebrity and fashion features for digital platforms. You will edit fast, craft sizzles and thumbnails, and ensure the team’s output meets brand voice and storytelling standards.

You will mentor junior editors, coordinate graphics and promotional assets, and contribute fresh ideas daily while staying on trend with digital video formats and social media demand.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years' experience editing celebrity videos for digital outlets.
• Ability to edit fast in a high‑volume newsroom.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Premiere Pro.
• Experience with multicam editing and color/audio handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the editing and post-production of high-priority Page Six video series, branded content, and digital features optimized for social and web platforms.
• Supervise and mentor editors, providing direction and quality control in a fast-paced newsroom.
• Edit compelling, digitally-native videos using original footage, stock assets, and social media content while preserving Page Six’s voice.
