Qualifications
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
- Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- A calm and efficient approach in fast-paced or stressful situations.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
- One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care and administer treatments.
- Monitor anesthesia and assist during procedures.
- Perform lab work and radiology as needed.
- Educate clients about treatments, review medical records, and answer questions.
