Qualifications

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT)
• Preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary technology program.

Responsibilities

• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services, Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care and pet health needs.
• Manage routing the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times, educate clients about pet health and assist with non-veterinarian procedures as allowed by state law.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet information, ensuring prompt service.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, dispensing prescription items, and scheduling future appointments.
• Maintain finances with accurate balances and follow opening/closing procedures.
• Support veterinarian to maximize productivity and ensure quality care.
