With 2 dedicated doctors and a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we serve quality care to the pets of St. Augustine, Nocatee, Ponte Vedra, and Twin Creeks. We offer a wide range of services to ensure comprehensive care, including preventive & wellness care, holistic services such as acupuncture, nutritional counseling, dentistry and soft tissue surgeries, behavioral management appointments, and more. We believe in work-life balance and are open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with weekends off.

Job Description

Job duties include, but are not limited to: animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises and may be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases. Through virtual and hands-on training and continuing development, there are opportunities to grow in your role.

Qualifications
  • A high work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to arrive on-time and ready to work
  • A minimum of 1-year experience preferred; CVT/RVT/LVT a bonus
  • Weekend availability
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate precisely
  • Interpret medical records and record client history accurately
  • Knowledge in preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow
  • Ability to restrain pets in a low-stress and safe manner
  • Proficient in sample collection (blood, urine, fecal, skin)
  • Ability to set up and process laboratory samples and tests
  • Proficient in positioning and capturing radiographs; dental radiographs are a plus
  • Proficient in anesthesia and surgical monitoring
  • A self-starter with a desire to advance knowledge and skills
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback professionally to maintain hospital efficiency
Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $20-$23/hr
