Horizon Veterinary Specialists is seeking a Board-Certified Veterinary Criticalist to join our growing emergency and specialty team in Ventura. You will manage critically ill and hospitalized patients with ICU-level care and support the ER team with complex cases, while collaborating with internal medicine and other specialists.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified ACVECC veterinary criticalist
• Passion for emergency and critical care medicine
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill and hospitalized patients with ICU-level care oversight
• Support the ER team with complex, life-threatening cases
• Collaborate with internal medicine and other specialists to ensure high-quality patient care
• Mentor team members and help shape protocols for the new specialty service
