Modern Animal, Inc. is seeking a Lead Veterinarian in California to mentor a team of veterinarians and elevate patient care.

You’ll collaborate with clinic management to raise medical quality, client satisfaction, and staff engagement while maintaining a supportive, blame-free culture. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience leading teams of Veterinarians.
• 5+ years of experience as a Veterinarian.
• Active license to practice veterinary medicine in California required at start of employment.
• License must be in good standing with no malpractice or disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of veterinarians by modeling excellent medical practice.
• Mentor associate doctors regarding performance improvement in client satisfaction, teamwork, medical quality, record keeping, and efficiency.
• Empower the care team to deliver an unparalleled client experience.
• Collaborate with clinic manager to drive clinic performance related to medical quality and member experience.
• Promote a blame- and judgment-free work environment consistent with Modern Animal culture.
• Lead initiatives supporting the well-being of the clinical team to keep the veterinary profession joyful and sustainable.
