Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years as practicing veterinarian with leadership/ownership preferred.
• Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills.
• Strong business acumen with experience in managing a veterinary clinic or similar business.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current licensure in good standing to practice veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all aspects of the veterinary clinic, including medical operations, staff management, and financial performance.
• Providing high-quality medical care to a variety of animals, including diagnosing diseases, performing surgeries, and administering vaccinations.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring their pets receive the best possible care and they are satisfied with our services.
• Training and mentoring veterinary staff to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest medical practices and procedures.
• Ensuring the clinic complies with all relevant laws and regulations, maintaining the highest standards of animal care and welfare.
• Developing and implementing strategies to grow the business, including marketing initiatives and client retention strategies.
• Handling administrative tasks such as record-keeping, budgeting, and inventory management.
