Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of veterinary practice with leadership/ownership experience preferred.
• Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills.
• Strong business acumen with experience managing a clinic.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deep passion for animal care and welfare.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
• Proficiency with veterinary software and technology.
• Current licensure in good standing to practice veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the veterinary clinic, including medical operations, staff management, and financial performance.
• Provide high-quality medical care to a variety of animals, including diagnosing diseases, performing surgeries, and administering vaccinations.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction with care.
• Train and mentor veterinary staff to stay updated with current practices.
• Ensure compliance with laws and maintain high standards of animal care and welfare.
• Develop and implement growth strategies, including marketing and client retention initiatives.
• Handle administrative tasks such as record-keeping, budgeting, and inventory management.
