Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year prior customer service experience.
• Over & Short record acceptable.
• Proven success in a Personal Banker role.
• Successful completion of in-house training program.
• Good interpersonal communication and computer skills.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling debits, credits and balancing the vault daily.
• Weekly ordering and processing of Coin and Currency from the Federal Reserve.
• Weekly coin and currency shipments to the Federal Reserve.
• Weekly Branch Currency and Coin Orders- ordering and preparing to ship.
• Maintain log of shipments- incoming and outgoing for inner branch couriers and Fed Courier Service.
• Responsible for any outages and/or reconciling any errors within the Vault.
• Serves as the primary Personal Banker for lobby customers and recommends products/services.
• Receives checks and cash for deposits, verifies amounts and enters deposits into records.
• Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; pays out money after verification.
• Promotes and explains other financial services such as loans, IRAs, CDs, etc.
• Balances cash drawer and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
