Job summary

Caromont Imaging Services in North Carolina seeks a Vascular Ultrasound Supervisor Inpatient to lead the ultrasound team. This full-time role covers day shift hours from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm and involves direct staff supervision, scheduling, and performance reviews to ensure high-quality patient care.

The supervisor oversees equipment PMs, maintains accreditation standards, and ensures compliance with Joint Commission and state/federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
• Registered in Sonography (ARDMS/ARRT) with vascular credential.
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Ongoing participation in continuing education.
• Ability to perform abdominal, OB/GYN and vascular ultrasound studies.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of assigned staff: scheduling, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Orientation and training of staff; monitor productivity targets.
• Oversight of equipment maintenance, PMs and repairs.
• Primary oversight for modality accreditations and Joint Commission requirements.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines; perform other modality tasks as needed.
