Lead Varsity Sideline Cheer Coach

Job summary

Mid-Pacific is seeking a Head Coach for Sideline Cheer at the high school Varsity level. The role develops student-athletes, creates practice plans, recruits and mentors staff, and collaborates with the Athletic Department to maintain a competitive program.

It is a temporary, seasonal appointment concluding with the Sideline Cheer season. The position requires leadership, safety oversight, and strong communication with athletes, parents, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be willing to obtain valid CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Preferred: Proven experience as a successful and motivating head coach with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop student-athletes through drills, skills, strategies, and lesson planning.
• Motivate and support student-athletes using positive reinforcement.
• Provide off-season training opportunities to improve performance.
• Monitor athlete eligibility and maintain equipment.
• Recruit, train, and oversee coaches in the Sideline Cheer program.
• Ensure safety and respond to emergencies per policy.
