Job summary

The Varsity Girls Wrestling Head Coach position at Mason High School within Mason Public Schools leads and develops student-athletes, emphasizing fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a positive, competitive environment.

This in-person role involves planning practices, supporting athlete development, and collaborating with staff while serving as a strong role model within the Mason Public Schools athletics program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and a High School graduate.
• Knowledge of coaching techniques and coaching psychology.
• Basic knowledge of first aid training and training techniques.
• Excellent character and ability to serve as a positive role model to student athletes.
• Willing to work cooperatively in all aspects of our interscholastic athletic program.
• Experience as a player and coach in this sport.
• Current First Aid Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Verified internship under an experienced head coach or provide evidence demonstrating completion of the MHSAA program for Athletic Coaches Education.
• Basic knowledge of prevention and care of athletic injuries.
• Ability to relate well with students, parents, and school personnel.
