Job summary

Young World Physical Education in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a Head Wrestling Coach to oversee all aspects of the Girls and Boys Wrestling Program. Responsibilities include conducting tryouts, developing training programs, and mentoring student-athletes both on and off the mat.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of wrestling rules, experience coaching at the High School level, and the ability to inspire and motivate student-athletes. Applicants must have an Ohio Secondary Teaching Certificate and a valid Pupil Activity Permit.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Provide satisfactory results of County Police Records Check.
• Possess an Ohio Department of Education Pupil Activity Permit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Wrestling Program including tryouts and practices.
• Develop and execute an effective training program.
• Ensure safety and well-being of student-athletes.

Skills

Strong knowledge of wrestling rules and techniques

Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes

Passionate and dedicated

Demonstrated coaching experience

Education

Ohio Secondary Teaching Certificate preferred
