Job summary

Summit Management Consulting, LLC seeks a Varsity Girls Powerlifting Coach to lead the program with a safety-first mindset and alignment to school goals. You will design progressive training plans and supervise lifts to develop student-athletes’ strength and technique, emphasizing injury prevention and personal growth.

The role requires collaboration with the Athletic Director and school staff, and involves after-school hours, some weekend events, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of strength training, conditioning, and athletic development principles.
• Ability to teach safe lifting mechanics and training progression.
• Ability to recognize unsafe lifting practices and potential injury concerns.
• Ability to develop age-appropriate training programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the varsity powerlifting program.
• Develop and implement a program philosophy aligned with school goals.
• Plan, organize, and conduct safe, effective practices and training sessions.
• Develop a progressive strength and conditioning program for high school athletes.
• Teach proper techniques for squat, bench press, deadlift and related lifts.
• Teach warm-up, mobility, conditioning, lifting, spotting, recovery and injury prevention.
• Develop individualized and team training plans based on student-athletes' factors.
