Job summary

Flow-Control-Group is seeking a Valve Repair Technician to support field and shop operations. You will follow safety and quality procedures, operate various equipment, and assist with disassembly, assembly, calibration, and certification of valves per manuals.

You will document job data, coordinate with the office, maintain a clean workspace, and travel as required with a valid driving record. Lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot or cold environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school degree preferred.
• Ability to learn the trade and work with hand and power tools.
• Must be able to travel and maintain a clear driving record.
• Capable of holding forklift operation certificate.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot or cold environments.
• Safe working attitude, attention to detail, and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and quality procedures and regulations.
• Operate equipment such as hoists, sand blaster, parts washer, torch.
• Disassemble valve without damaging parts per manuals.
• Document and enter job data into the database and photos.
• Coordinate with office on repair requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Maintain area equipment as required.
• Clean, blast, paint valve components.
• Return valves/parts to proper bins.
• Assemble, calibrate, tag and certify valve per manuals.
• May assist in field assignments.
• May climb and work at various elevations.
• Operate motor vehicle as required.
• Attend job and safety training as necessary.
