Job summary

Emergent BioSolutions is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Associate to execute CGMP-based manufacturing, inspection, and packaging of Anthrax Vaccine Adsorbed. You will complete required training and maintain competence per the manufacturing program while upholding the company’s Shared Values.

You will document steps, manage materials and cleaning tasks, operate labeling equipment, and participate in continuous improvement efforts across multiple production areas.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a cGMP environment.
• Knowledge of FDA CFRs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete training and demonstrate competency on Lead Manufacturing Associate qualification blocks.
• Execute and document procedural steps in compliance with CGMP standards and SOPs.
• Maintain facility environmental control and prepare cleaning solutions.
• Operate labeling equipment and ensure 100% reconciliation of packaging steps.
• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness of process steps in real time.
• Support building 55 operations, upstream/downstream, and SAP-based workflows.
• Assist in quality systems and continuous improvement activities.
