Job summary

SEGULA Technologies in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks a UXE Feature Designer Lead to own the usability and coherence of vehicle and infotainment interfaces. You will shape interactions, messaging, and feature logic to align with customer objectives and engineering specifications.

You will deliver robust specifications to engineering teams and external suppliers, participate in feature validation, and guide cross-functional reviews to ensure consistent HMI experiences across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Ergonomics, Human Factors, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a design role or related domain.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Specification Development: Publish clear HMI specifications and feature logic documents.
• Interaction Improvement: Propose solutions to enhance usability and meet performance targets.
• Change Management: Lead change requests across feature lifecycles with cross-functional teams.
• Design Presentations: Present proposals, lead reviews, and communicate test results.
• Benchmarking & Analysis: Compare against industry usability standards.
• Testing & Validation Support: Design tests, assist in validation, log issues, and support vehicle assessments.
