Job summary

BMC Software, Inc. is seeking a Lead UX Designer to define and lead the experience strategy for the Agentic Experience initiative. This hands-on leadership role sits at the intersection of enterprise UX, AI, and product innovation.

You will design how people understand, direct, collaborate with, supervise, and trust autonomous and semi-autonomous agents across complex workflows. You will collaborate with product, engineering, AI, research, and domain experts to translate agentic AI capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of product or UX design experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong portfolio showing systems thinking and measurable impact.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end cross-product experience strategy for agentic AI systems.
• Design human-agent interaction patterns for autonomy and trust.
• Lead discovery with customers, product teams, and domain experts.
• Prototype and test AI workflows and agent behaviors.
• Establish reusable agentic UX patterns and guidelines.
