Job summary

Entergy Louisiana, LLC is seeking a Lineworker Foreman in Gretna, LA to perform and lead linework on overhead and underground electrical facilities. You will supervise other lineworkers and ensure a Live Safe mindset on all tasks, from maintenance to distribution construction. The role requires a High School diploma, CDL-A, and 6 months to 4 years of distribution linework experience.

Travel is 50% to 75%. Strong leadership, readings of prints, and operation of bucket and derrick trucks are

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
6 months–4 years of distribution linework experience; level determined by experience.
Must have valid driver’s license and Class-A CDL or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Ability to work irregular hours and travel 50–75% as required.
Strong leadership and communication skills; capable of directing other linemen.

Responsibilities

Learn and use safety tools and procedures in day‑to‑day activities.
Operate equipment such as Aerial Bucket, Bread Vans, and Digger Derrick Trucks.
Read and interpret job prints and sketches in relation to distribution standards.
Perform linework tasks from Helper through Sr levels, including energized work up to 34,500 volts.
Provide guidance and indirect leadership to a crew; maintain safe, organized jobsite.
