Job summary

Entergy Louisiana, LLC is hiring a Lineworker Helper to support overhead and underground distribution work in the Reserve, LA area. This onsite role requires living within 45 miles of the service area headquarters and offers no relocation benefits.

Responsibilities include learning and applying safety tools, operating bucket trucks and other line equipment, reading job prints, and assisting or leading line crews as needed. A valid driver’s license and Class-A CDL within 6 months are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months - 4 years of distribution field experience; 2 years preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and Class-A CDL within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply safety tools and their usage on day-to-day work.
• Drive trucks and operate equipment including Aerial Bucket, Bread Vans, and Digger Derrick Trucks.
• Read and understand job prints and sketches with reference to distribution standards.
