Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies seeks an experienced GIS architecture leader to shape modernization programs for large utility environments. You will blend Esri Utility Network expertise with enterprise architecture, systems integration, and technical leadership to turn business needs into practical technology strategies.

You'll own architecture direction, mentor delivery teams, and partner with clients to ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Esri Utility Network and its role in enterprise utilities.
• Background delivering GIS, technology modernization, systems integration, or enterprise architecture.
• Experience translating requirements into architecture, specs, or designs.
• Knowledge of electric or gas utility operations and related assets/processes.
• Ability to guide developers, engineers, integrators, or QA through complex implementations.
• Strong written and verbal communication across technical and business audiences.
• Comfort owning ambiguous technical problems and guiding teams to practical decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, CS, IT, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• Translate business needs into architecture, technical specifications, and solution designs.
• Shape architecture direction while maintaining focus on business outcomes.

• Encourage strong architecture, documentation, and delivery practices.
• Contribute to discovery and align stakeholders, requirements, and technology.
