Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
• 5+ years in utility installation, maintenance, or construction with leadership shown.
• Thorough knowledge of water, sewer, stormwater, and underground utilities.
• Familiarity with codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew in installing, repairing, and maintaining utility systems on construction sites.
• Coordinate with project managers on schedules, resources, and logistics.
• Interpret blueprints and specs for correct placement of utilities.
• Manage procurement and inventory of materials and tools.
• Conduct safety inspections and enforce protocols.
• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and regulators for permits.
• Maintain records of labor, materials, and milestones.
• Provide training and mentorship to crew members.
• Communicate progress and issues to stakeholders.
