Job summary

Cinterra in Hope Mills, NC is seeking a Senior Utility General Foreman to lead utility construction and maintenance projects. You will oversee field teams, ensure safety compliance, and deliver quality results on schedule and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to read and interpret plans, and the ability to manage schedules, materials, and equipment, with a willingness to travel and work long hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; advanced education preferred.
• Three+ years in construction management or electrical experience.
• NFPA 70E certification preferred.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations; OSHA training and certifications preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work long hours, weekends, and travel full time.
• Familiar with local codes, AHJ standards, and NEC.
• Reads and interprets plans and specifications.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Collaborative work style with a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily utility construction and maintenance crews.
• Ensure projects are completed safely and in accordance with regulations and standards.
• Plan and organize work schedules, materials, and equipment to optimize productivity.
• Monitor work progress and provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Conduct safety meetings and promote a safety-first culture.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet project specs and deadlines.
• Maintain documentation of work activities, safety reports, and project records.
• Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize delays and costs.
