Job summary

The City of Nixa is hiring for a position overseeing the tree program within the Electric Department. You will manage and participate in the safe removal of limbs and trees in relation to the City’s electrical distribution system. This role entails supervising both City crews and contractors.

A minimum of five years of supervisory experience and a High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required. Certification through International Society of Arboriculture and a valid Class B Driver’s license are also essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years direct experience with trimming operations around overhead power lines.
• Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Valid State of Missouri Class B Commercial Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in the tree program for the City of Nixa Electric Department.
• Manage work by City crews or contractors for safe limb and tree removal.
