Job summary

Brakebush Brothers, Inc. seeks an Utilities Supervisor, 1st Shift, to lead the Mocksville plant's PSM, utilities, and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities include supervising the PSM Coordinator and utility technicians, driving preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety and GMP standards. The role requires extensive ammonia refrigeration experience, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate across shifts, with travel for training as needed and working

Qualifications

Demonstrated six-years of ammonia refrigeration experience AND three-plus years of leadership experience.
Proven working knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems with required certifications.
Proven working knowledge of Process Safety Management - PSM/RMP Certification within 18 months.
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; team-focused and decisive under pressure.
Ability to organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage maintenance activities for ammonia refrigeration and plant utilities.
Provide training, supervision, and feedback to the PSM Coordinator and utility technicians.
Ensure compliance with PSM/RMP, safety, GMPs, SOPs, HACCP and SQF requirements.
Contribute to project scopes, cost estimates, and progress reporting.
Cover for Maintenance and Utilities Manager during absences and participate in weekend PM rotations.
