Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, FL is seeking a Utilities and MEP Supervisor to oversee operations, maintenance, monitoring, scheduling, installation and improvements of resort-wide life safety, security control, environmental building management and utilities systems.

You will lead energy conservation initiatives, supervise electrical, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, and electronic control work, coordinate with ride and facility teams, and ensure regulatory compliance and reliable service.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• AA degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and communicates annual budgets for utility departments and supervises Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electronic Control and Fire Alarm work.
• Coaches and counsels utility technicians; conducts performance evaluations and development plans.
• Supervises routine utilities maintenance, PM schedules and operations; ensures safety-related items are completed.
• Establishes energy conservation goals and monitors initiatives to reduce utility costs.
• Interacts with utilities and government agencies for reliable service and favorable rates.
• Coordinates with ride/show and facility maintenance on utilities/MEP issues to ensure readiness and availability.
