We are seeking experienced forklift mechanics with fleet maintenance experience. Pay is based on experience.

JOB SUMMARY

• Promote goodwill and accountability between the company and customers, providing professional customer service.
• Perform shop repairs and maintenance as assigned.
• Meet or exceed scheduled repair times and deadlines.
• Diagnose equipment problems and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Make repairs or modifications on rental, used, and new equipment.
• Represent the company’s values daily.
• Maintain a clean and safe shop environment, report safety or cleanliness issues.
• Adhere to OSHA, company, and customer safety procedures.
• Maintain positive customer relations.
• Follow company procedures and attend scheduled training.
• Document repairs accurately and neatly.
• Ensure the serviceability of all company equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of electrical and industrial battery charger repair is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with three+ years of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience in forklift or equipment repair.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to understand manuals and schematics.
• Ability to safely operate power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks, and cranes.

TYPICAL WORK SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must perform strenuous work, exert force up to 100 pounds, and handle loads to 50 pounds. Ability to perform full-body motions including climbing, reaching, pulling, and lifting. Must have good vision and physical stamina.
