Experience as a forklift mechanic is required, with a focus on maintaining fleet equipment. Compensation is based on experience.

Job Summary
  • Promote goodwill and accountability with customers, providing professional and superior customer service.
  • Perform shop repairs and maintenance as assigned by the Used Truck Manager.
  • Meet or exceed scheduled repair times and deadlines.
  • Diagnose equipment problems accurately and recommend appropriate repairs.
  • Make necessary repairs or modifications on rental, used, and new equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe shop environment, adhering to OSHA and safety procedures.
  • Maintain positive customer relations and document repairs properly.
Requirements
  • Experience with electrical and industrial battery charger repair is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least three years of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience in the forklift or equipment repair industry.
  • Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Ability to understand service manuals and schematics.
  • Ability to operate power tools, lifts, and overhead cranes safely.
Work Schedule and Physical Demands

The typical work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

The physical demands include strenuous work, exerting force up to 100 pounds, handling loads to 50 pounds, and performing continuous full-body motions such as climbing, reaching, and lifting. Employees must have good vision and sensory abilities to perform the job effectively.
