Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC is seeking a Lead Provider (PA) to head clinical leadership in our Maine urgent care. You will mentor new-grad providers, guide clinical staff, and uphold high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a Master’s PA degree, active PA certification, and a DEA license, with strong EMR proficiency and leadership skills. Collaboration and compliance are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and PA certification required.
• DEA license without restrictions.
• BLS certification required.
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care through assessments, exams, and histories.
• Administer or order diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care, and other procedures.
• Educate and counsel patients on regimens and wellness.
• Document and maintain accurate EMR records and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with clinicians to plan coordinated patient care and mentorship.
• Lead when the Practice Manager is absent and support clinic staff.
• Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing education and networks.
• Precept new staff with information and growth opportunities.
