Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Superintendent – 5 years (preferred).
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent knowledge of project drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with regulatory construction standards.
• Ability to lead craft labor and subcontractors to complete projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on Heavy Civil projects.
• Direct all field personnel to achieve project completion on schedule and within budget.
• Overall management of daily operation of construction projects.
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed.
• Create and manage project schedule.
• Monitor budgets and control costs.
• Communicate project progress with clients and project managers.
• Coordinate subcontractors and construction site organization.
• Order materials and schedule inspections as necessary.
• Recruit and train new employees.
• Prepare daily reports and timecards.
