Job summary

GBA is seeking a Structural Inspector (Air Diving Supervisor) to lead underwater bridge and waterfront inspections as part of our Transportation Group in Round Rock, Texas.

You will supervise dives, develop inspection reports, travel across Texas, and collaborate with a team of engineers to evaluate conditions and recommend repairs. This role requires ADCI Air Diving Supervisor certification and a commitment to safety and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• ADCI Air Diving Supervisor certification is required.
• PE license in Texas is preferred.
• Load rating experience is advantageous.
• Structural or transportation design experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Inspection Dive Supervisor and Team Leader on underwater inspection projects.
• Conduct and support structural inspections across Texas as needed.
• Travel periodically to project sites to perform inspections and support clients.
• Develop detailed inspection reports and project documentation.
• Apply structural engineering principles to inspection, assessment, and rehabilitation projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate conditions and develop recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations, diving standards, and project requirements.
• Support delivery of infrastructure inspection projects to extend service life and safety of assets.
