Job summary

GBA is seeking a Bridge Inspection (Diver) Engineer Team Lead in Round Rock, TX. In this role, you will lead a team on underwater inspections, develop reports, and conduct load rating calculations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, EIT certification, and at least 2 years of dive experience with commercial diver certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in bridge inspection and/or bridge design.
• 2+ years of dive experience with commercial diver certification (ADCI).
• Completion of NHI Safety Inspection of In‑Service Bridges course preferred.
• Completion of NHI Underwater Bridge Inspection course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Inspection Diver/Team Leader on underwater inspection projects.
• Develop detailed inspection reports.
• Produce load rating calculations.
• Travel as needed to support inspection assignments.
