Job summary

Ella-Sa-Contracting is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead underground utility projects, overseeing field operations, coordinating crews, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in trenching and wet utilities, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules across water, sewer, gas, and electrical installations. Supervision of field crews and coordination with the Project Manager are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in underground utility construction with a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of trenching, shoring, and excavation safety practices.
• Experience in underground, wet utilities in the civil industry.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for underground utility projects (water, sewer, gas, electrical).
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to meet deadlines.
• Monitor progress and resolve field issues to minimize delays.
• Interpret and implement construction plans and specifications.
