Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in underground utilities
• Ability to read blueprints and plans
• Willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed
• Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing strenuous labor

Responsibilities

• Lay pipe for storm sewers, sanitation sewers, and water mains
• Grade culverts and set line and grade according to project plans
• Dig trenches with hand tools or trenching equipment
• Maintain site safety and communicate with crew and foreman
• Attend safety meetings and ensure trench protection and housekeeping
