Responsibilities

• Design underground transmission lines for voltages up to 500kV.
• Conduct cost analyses and develop design criteria.
• Oversee physical design for duct bank layouts and calculations.
• Develop specifications for cable procurement and installation.
• Lead a small project team of engineers and designers.

Skills

Proficiency with CYMCAP modeling

Cable tensioning calculations/software

7+ years in project teams

Design experience with code requirements

Cost estimate development

Experience with XLPE cable design

Preparation of specifications

Knowledge of design techniques and tools

Writing and supporting documentation

Familiarity with design codes

Proficiency with MS Office

Excellent communication skills
