Kinross Gold Corporation seeks a Senior Geologist to lead a team of mine geologists and oversee underground drilling operations in production settings. You will guide data systems, models, and safety-focused practices to deliver value-driven outcomes.

Required are 5–8 years in mining geology, a B.S. in Geology or Geological Engineering, and proficiency with Leapfrog Geo, Vulcan, and Deswik CAD/Map. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geological Engineering is required.
• 5–8 years of geology experience in mining; underground experience required.
• Experience collecting field data, underground mapping, and sampling preferred.
• Experience managing geological drilling programs and contracts.
• Proficiency with geologic software and database management tools.

Responsabilidades

• Act as lead geologist for day-to-day production and mine-exploration activities.
• Develop and maintain geological operating and sampling procedures.
• Project manage active drilling operations related to production geology and exploration programs.
• Prepare and present technical reports, models, and recommendations for decisions.
• Update grade control mineral inventory and geological models.
• Design and supervise core shed activities, staffing, and data management.
