Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Working Construction Manager to lead a fast-moving underground fiber project in Arizona. You will run day-to-day field operations, manage a hands-on crew, and build a multi-crew capability as the business grows.

The role requires several years of hands-on underground fiber construction experience, leadership of crews, and proficiency with excavation equipment and hydro vac. A valid driver’s license is required, and a strong safety and quality mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on underground fiber construction experience.
• Experience leading crews while staying hands-on.
• Confident with compact excavation equipment and hydro vac.
• Experience with microtrenching and flowable fill.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day underground fiber construction on a fast-paced project.
• Lead a crew and coordinate pumping and installation tasks.
• Oversee equipment moves between sites and ensure safety and quality.
• Recruit, train and grow an 8–10 person crew, with plans to scale.
• Maintain production targets and site safety standards.
