Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to lead shift operations, supervise staff in the absence of management, and ensure high-quality diagnostic scans. You will position patients and equipment, capture recordings, and transmit images to PACS in a timely manner.

The role requires ARDMS/ARRT certification within 90 days, completion of an accredited ultrasound program, and vascular certification. Prior experience is preferred, with BCLS maintained after hire.

Qualifications

• RDMS/ARRT certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate from accredited ultrasound program or current equivalent certification within 90 days.
• Vascular certification required.

Responsibilities

• Leads or coordinates shift operations of ultrasound activities, resources and staff.
• Supervises staff in the absence of manager/director.
• Ensure proficiency in performing ultrasound exams and producing diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Positioning of patient and equipment and producing appropriate recordings.
