Job summary

RadNet in California is seeking a Lead Ultrasound Technologist to guide a skilled imaging team and uphold the highest patient-care standards. Based in Murrieta, you will lead clinical operations and ensure excellence across ultrasound services.

You will coach staff, monitor performance, ensure OSHA and safety compliance, and collaborate with the Imaging Center Manager to optimize staffing and quality while maintaining technical proficiency.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification
• Must have BLS certification
• Familiarity with RIS, imaging equipment and PACS
• Demonstrated ability to maintain quality standards

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback to Imaging Center Manager on performance and quality of technologists.
• Coach, train, support and motivate team members.
• Monitor and document performance during appraisal periods and provide documentation to the ICM.
• Promote flexible staff utilization and delegate work across teams and departments.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations, RadNet practices and safety protocols.
• Perform technologist duties to maintain technical skills and alleviate staffing shortages.
• Provide input for hiring and performance evaluations of Ultrasound staff.
• Act on behalf of the ICM when the manager is unavailable.

When you join us as a Lead Ultrasound Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21 st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will

• Provide the Imaging Center Manager (ICM) with feedback regarding performance and quality of technologists.


• Manage and provide coaching, training, support, and motivation to team members.


• Monitor and document performance during performance periods and provides documentation to the ICM.


• Promote flexibility in staff utilization and delegate work appropriately across teams and departments.


• Adheres to all OSHA regulations, RadNet practices, and generally accepted safety protocols.


• Performs technologist duties to maintain technical skills and to alleviate staffing shortages.


• Provide input for hiring and performance evaluation of Ultrasound employees.


• Acts on behalf of the ICM when individual is unavailable.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• ARDMS certification

Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
