Job summary

Shield AI is seeking highly skilled Production Technicians to work on composite aircraft, avionics and related systems. This hands-on role emphasizes quality, reading engineering drawings and following detailed instructions to achieve the required finish of each component.

The ideal candidate will assist with fabrication, assembly and testing, and collaborate with engineering to ensure on-time delivery of aircraft and systems.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of experience in aircraft production/manufacturing.
• Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Ability to interface with team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Support and perform assembly, testing and configuration of aircraft systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting, component removal/replacement and testing per procedures.
• Trim, Paint, and Bodywork UAV components.
• Assemble, Test, and support engine ground runs and break-ins.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure on-time delivery.
• Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions for fabrication.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
