Shield AI is seeking Production Technicians to work on composite aircraft, avionics and all related systems. The role is hands-on with strong interpersonal skills and a focus on quality in production environments.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of experience in aircraft production/manufacturing.
• Experience with composite layup, avionics fabrication/installation.
• Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Good interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Strong safety ethic and handling hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and support aircraft systems (UAVs, avionics, GCS, GSE, GDT).
• Troubleshoot, remove/replace components, test, and document per procedures.
• Trim, paint, and bodywork UAV components.
• Assemble, test, and support engine ground runs and break-ins.
• Coordinate with team to ensure on-time delivery.
• Interpret engineering drawings and manuals related to fabrication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
