Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies is seeking an experienced UAV Avionics Assembler IV to lead avionics assembly activities and ensure high-quality production across multiple programs. You will work with engineers, production technicians, and operations teams to maintain quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include leading assembly, tooling collaboration, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring compliance with AS9100 and FAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
• Experience assembling avionics components and wiring harnesses from schematics.
• Mentor and train junior assemblers to maintain workmanship standards.
• Adherence to AS9100, FAA or equivalent quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead avionics assembly execution for a product line or cell.
• Own assembly sequencing, build standards, and workmanship.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering on tooling and work instructions.
• Support production readiness reviews and design transitions.
• Lead investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor Avionics Assemblers I–II and provide process feedback.
