Job summary

All Aviation Jobs is seeking a Flight Test Pilot III to support Research & Development flight operations for long-endurance UAS. You will plan, execute, and analyze test activities, ensuring safety, compliance, and mission success in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

The role requires leading test operations, data collection, and supporting ongoing development of UAS platforms, with potential international deployments and travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 7–10 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required.
• Private Pilot License (PPL) required.
• Extensive experience operating UAS in diverse weather and environmental conditions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Up to 50% CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute R&D flight test programs for multi-day endurance UAS platforms.
• Develop and refine detailed test plans and flight test cards.
• Collaborate with Flight Operations leadership to coordinate test events.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation for ground and flight tests.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Software teams for integration and evaluation.
• Lead post-flight debriefings and document lessons learned.

Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
