Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a highly experienced Flight Test Engineer and Test Lead for developmental aircraft programs, including Group 5 UAS. You will plan, coordinate, execute and report on test campaigns with DoD partners, and drive cross‑functional collaboration across engineering and flight ops.

The role emphasizes envelope expansion, flying qualities, vehicle autonomy and testing in operational environments, with frequent government range work and a Top Secret clearance requirement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as test conductor/director for developmental aircraft, weapons, or missile systems.
• Bachelor's degree or related technical discipline; equivalent engineering experience allowed.
• Experience with development flight test operations at military ranges.
• Familiarity with DCMA INST 8210, MIL-STD-516, 14 CFR, and DoD T&E guidance.
• Strong communication, documentation, and cross‑functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine, develop and implement approaches to achieve T&E goals; lead test program efforts.
• Focus on envelope expansion, flying qualities, and vehicle autonomy for new aircraft.
• Ensure comprehensive flight test campaigns across multiple test articles.
• Coordinate test activities with government facilities and DoD partners.
• Lead technical interactions among engineering teams and contribute to reviews.
